DESCRIPTION:

At Cambridge, at the Southeast corner of Harvard Square and the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Dunster Streets. Station is set in the granite curbing forming the subway island for Harvard Station in the middle of the Square, approximately 45 feet North of the Northeast corner of the Cambridge Savings Bank building, and 91 feet Southeast of the Southeast corner of the Harvard Square Newsstand. A standard 2" brass tablet inscribed "Harvard University Geodetic Monument GPS 1992" and stamped HOTS07.
