DESCRIPTION:
At Cambridge, atop a small retaining wall between Palfrey Hall and the Biomedical Nuclear Laboratory in the North Yard of the Harvard University campus. Access to this area is from Oxford Street approximately 100 feet North of its intersection with Everett Street. The station is situated directly behind the Laboratory Building, approximately 36 feet from the Southwest corner of Palfrey Hall. A standard 2" brass tablet set in the top of the 4' high retaining wall inscribed "Harvard University Geodetic Monument GPS 1992" and stamped NYOX13.
