The focus of this collection is as-built or record drawings for projects circa 1900-present. Some older drawings—the oldest dating from 1840—may include design development and schematic design drawings. The majority of the drawings are on traditional supports such as linen, vellum, paper and Mylar. A growing portion of the collection is available electronically, as CAD and TIFF files.
Drawings can be requested by visiting the library where our staff is ready to assist you in locating the materials you require.
Hard copy listings of the drawing collection — known as "Red Books" — are available on-line in PDF format. A searchable catalog comprising a partial inventory is also available.
