Planning and Real Estate Report Collection,
1913-present
This collection includes feasibility studies, master plans, area-specific planning studies, and building studies for the Harvard campus.
Physical Planning Unit Area and Volume Studies, ca. 1937-1984
The Area and Volume Studies were compiled by the Planning Office and Department of Building and Grounds during 1955, 1958, 1966, 1978, and 1984. It appears that the studies were compilations of other works; note that the 1955 study has drawings that date ca. 1937-1956 and the 1966 study has drawings that date ca. 1937-1963. The studies typically show gross area, net usable area, net rentable area, volume (sum of the products of the various floor areas which equal the total floor gross area and their respective areas); and common area, ca. 1937-1984.
